95 hour Radiant Child YoKid (RCYK) Training Program
RCYK Qualifications
Those who are RYT-200 or RYT-500, as registered through Yoga Alliance may apply for the Specialty in Children’s Yoga as recognized by Yoga Alliance. At the completion of the training, one may register as RYT-C (C is for Specialty in Children’s Yoga).

A. Initial requirements
Note: These two requirements may be taken in any order.
1. Radiant Child Yoga Training levels 1-3 (30 hours, in class)

B. Remainder of 95 hour program
1. Radiant Child Completion 95 (20 hours, in class)
Details:
Course includes physical and energetic anatomy of children, daily practice/study of Kundalini Yoga, Sensory Integration through Yoga, and practical application of the Eight Limbs of Yoga.

Meeting the RCYP 1-3 (30 hour) Requirement
RCYP courses previously attended will qualify if they meet the following criteria:
1. The student studied directly with Shakta Khalsa. If course was taken with a RCYP facilitator, the student may audit a future RCYP course with Shakta at no charge (minimal administrative fee and/or materials fee may apply). Please have course certificate available for proof of attendance.
2. The course was attended in full (either levels 1-2 or 1-3), and they were attended in 2008 until present. Please have course certificate available for proof of attendance.
Meeting the YoKid (20 hour) Requirement
Beginning June 2009, YoKid 20 hour teacher training can be applied toward completion of the Radiant Child YoKid Teacher Training 95-hour or the Radiant Child Family Yoga Teacher Training.

Schedule and Tuition
RCYP 1-3 may be taken at any location. Level 3 may be taken separately or in conjunction with 1-2. The total amount of hours for RCYP 1-3 is 30 hours. Check the schedule at:

Mentoring Phase
The remainder of the 95-hour training is the practicum, or mentoring phase, consisting of a combination of contact and non-contact hours, totaling 25 hours.
YoKid will guide students through organizing, co-teaching, mentoring, and apprenticing programs to accommodate each individual student’s needs. For more information visit: www.yokid.org
